Edmund Asiedu was born and raised in Ghana and relocated to the United States in 2010. He was attacked by the Polio virus at the age of two and that resulted in his disability. Edmund Asiedu had to overcome his physical disability so he wanted to fund raise to help the people HMH serve to overcome their mental disability. Edmund never let his disability stop him from attending college and graduating with honors and Cum Laude from Herbert H. Lehman College. This is his 7th year hand cycling in the NYC Marathon and his 2nd year help Hamilton-Madison House to raise fund. Last year he finished the Marathon in 1 hour and 52 minutes and placed 14th in the Men's Handcycle Category and helped us to raise $4,234 with his team.
